Event Description:
Do you think like an entrepreneur? Many of the traits that make entrepreneurs successful—like creativity and problem-solving—are valuable in everyday life. Join us for an interactive workshop that uses playful, group exercises to help you unlock key entrepreneurial skills such as self-awareness and communicating more effectively. You'll gain practical teamwork strategies, build confidence in taking risks, and learn how to collaborate in ways that let everyone shine. Plus, you'll discover the power of staying present, which sharpens your focus and helps you make quick decisions in fast-paced situations—essential skills for navigating school, work, and life.
Come as you are! This is a non-performative workshop designed to be a safe, supportive space where everyone can explore and participate without fear of judgment. Don’t miss this chance to unlock your inner entrepreneur!
About the Speaker:
Melissa Lee | Community Director, Hera Hub |
Melissa cultivates connection and confidence among entrepreneurs and within communities. As an explorer, she’s learned that play allows us to ask questions like Who am I? and What do I want? She loves creating fun experiences for groups, to practice engaging together in exciting and meaningful ways. She is a determined problem-solver who is comfortable doing things differently.
With a unique, integrative studies degree in the Creative Process and 10+ years of teaching experience, Melissa is now an intrepreneur – learning to use business as a force for good. She feels at home as a connector, resource, and cheerleader. When she's not supporting others, you can find her boldly chasing her dreams, dancing, or playing beach volleyball.
