Check-in begins at 11 am. First round pairings scheduled for 12 pm.
Entry is $15. All participants will receive a Participation Promo as well as at least one Godzilla: Reign of Kaiju Booster Pack. Matches will be best of 3, Swiss format, 60 minute time limit with a 10 minute overtime for 4-5 rounds with a Top Cut depending on attendance. Additional Promos for Top 8, Top 4, Finalists, and the Champion as well as a Champion Playmat and a sealed Booster Box of Godzilla: Reign of Kaiju for the Winner. There will also be tiered Booster Pack Prize Support for where players place in the tournament.
Local Championships are your first step into competitive UniVersus Organized Play. These single-day tournaments take place right at the heart of any TCG: the local game store.
At Local Championships, players can travel and compete for new promos, playmats, and even round 1 byes they can utilize at any upcoming Regional tournament.
And for any Local Championship that hits 16 players or more? Look forward to $150 travel vouchers thrown into the prize pool courtesy of UVS Games.
