The University of Memphis Wind Ensemble closes our season with Julie Giroux's Symphony No. 4, "The Blue Marble", which promises to be a remarkable and inspiring experience. This symphony, accompanied by a film, results from a unique collaboration blending music and visuals to create a multisensory journey.
The symphony's title, "The Blue Marble," alludes to the famous photograph of Earth taken during the Apollo 17 mission. Accompanying the symphony is a visual component created by ION Concert Media.
