About this Event

Call for abstracts is open!

We are delighted to invite you to submit an abstract for the University of Bradford PGR Conference 2026. This annual conference brings together postgraduate researchers from across the University and beyond, providing an excellent opportunity to present your work, receive constructive feedback, exchange ideas, and connect with peers and academics from diverse disciplines.

The theme for this year is “The Ripple Effect: How Research Shapes People, Places, and Possibilities”.

Research is more than investigation and discovery. It creates ripple effects that extend far beyond the laboratory, library, or field site. It influences how people live, transforms communities and environments, and opens new possibilities for growth, innovation, and progress.

Under this theme, the conference aims to explore how research outcomes translate into real-world impact. We invite scholars, practitioners, and postgraduate researchers from all disciplines to share work that demonstrates how knowledge generation changes lives, improves local and global spaces, and unlocks opportunities for future development.

Presentation Formats

We welcome submissions across a range of presentation styles, including:

  • In-person or virtual presentations (15 mins + Q&A)
