January is Blood Donor Awareness Month, a time to recognize the lifesaving impact of blood donation and the generosity of those who give. Right now, there is a critical blood shortage, and the need is especially urgent in the Newark community.Patients rely on blood donations every day for emergencies, treatments, and ongoing care. Because blood cannot be manufactured, it can only come from donors. Every pint of blood can help up to three patients in need, and donations made here primarily support patients in our local and regional community.
Join us for our upcoming Blood Drive on February 9th from 10 AM to 4 PM at 185 South Orange Avenue, Newark, NJ.
