UnityNet Pollinator Ambassador & Earth Stewardship Day

This gathering is part of #UnityNet’s local Thornhill / Markham community activation work, rooted in the principle that healing is the first infrastructure.

On International Biodiversity weekend, we will come together in Pomona Park for a gentle “Story Bench” style gathering — a simple circle of listening, reflection, and community care.

The purpose is not to launch a large program, but to begin with what is real: youth, families, elders, neighbours, trees, pollinators, and the land beneath our feet.

Possible activities may include:

• • brief welcome and land acknowledgement
• • gentle movement / breathing / meditation
• • pollinator and biodiversity reflection
• • youth and elder listening circle
• • discussion on future Story Benches, Peace Gardens, and Earth Stewardship activities
• • next steps for local Pollinator Ambassadors and Earth Stewardship volunteers

This is a low-barrier, community-based gathering. Families, youth, elders, educators, faith communities, artists, and local neighbours are warmly welcome.

We begin small. We listen first. We build trust. Then we grow stewardship together.

This is not a formal conference or protest gathering.

It is a small, welcoming, outdoor community experience focused on:
