Unity in Diversity: A South Asian Heritage Month Event at RICS

The RICS REACH Network, The Sikh Surveyors and PREACH Inclusion® are coming together to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month with an evening of culture, connection and conversation across the built environment.
This year’s theme, Unity in Diversity, sits at the heart of the event. Through vibrant cultural moments, meaningful networking and a thought‑provoking panel discussion, we’ll explore what unity looks like in today’s world — and why it matters now more than ever.
We’re also delighted to welcome Rupinder Kaur Waraich — West Midlands–based multidisciplinary artist, writer, performer and storyteller — who will deliver a powerful spoken‑word performance that brings this year’s theme to life. Working across poetry, theatre, film and performance, she creates feminist work exploring the intersections of body, language, memory, sexuality, spirituality and belonging.
