The Americus Rotary Club will host the Unity in Community Festival - Peace Day, on October 25, 2025. Peacebuilding and educational activities will be featured alongside artistic and civic engagement activities throughout the event. Rotary’s goal for this free event is to break down barriers and foster unity within our diverse community by promoting peace, love, and mutual understanding through multiple types of entertainment for all ages: fun and educational peacebuilding and art activities, community resource information booths, and free food and drink. To kick off the day, a peace march into Rylander Park is planned with events starting there at 1 pm. Stay tuned for updates and a detailed schedule of events! Under federal laws for nonprofit organizations with 501c3 status, partisan activities of any kind are prohibited. This includes campaigning and/or displaying campaign paraphernalia during the event.
