United Way Spirit of Giving Event
Warm Up the Holiday Season by Attending this Special Event!
Join us for the United Way of Will County Spirit of Giving Event!
It’s time to share the warmth and generosity of the holiday season with the entire Will County Community.
No matter if you’re a family, a scout, part of a service group, a company, or just someone with a big heart, we invite everyone to come together and give back.
We’re turning a store front at The Promenade Bolingbrook into a magical winter wonderland by bringing the North Pole to you.
Get ready to be welcomed by Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Helpers, as we gather in Santa’s Workshop.
We’re on the lookout for eager “Elves in Training” to help us spread the Spirit of Giving all across Will County.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 7th and choose from three different registration times: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, or 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, and get ready to make a difference!
This year’s Santa Workshop Stations are bursting with festive activities that warm the heart:
Create Adorable Stuffed Animals: These special creations are designed to be given to First Responders, who, in turn, offer them to children in need during emergency calls.
Craft Festive Holiday Cards and Assemble Care Packages: These go to the unsheltered population in Will County, spreading hope and goodwill.
Make Christmas Ornaments: Bring joy to seniors in Will County who are homebound and share the holiday spirit with them.
Meet and Greet Santa: Santa himself will be there to share in the festivities and spread smiles.
Delightful Storytime with Mrs. Claus: Enjoy a heartwarming story time experience that adds a touch of magic to the day.
Spread Joy: As a touching and optional act of kindness, you’re welcome to bring an unwrapped toy, which will be donated to various organizations, ensuring that children in Will County have a special gift under their tree.
