Welcome to the annual UNA-OC "UN Day" Gala Dinner, where we'll be celebrating the 81st anniversary of the United Nations! Now, more than ever, We Need the UN, and the UN Needs US! This year's theme is "Building a More Just, Peaceful and Sustainable Future Together!"
Come join us on Sat Oct 24, 2026 at 5:30 PM for pre-event appetizers at the Andrei's Restaurant for a celebration commemorating the founding of the United Nations in 1945.
The program will feature keynote speaker Adam Lupel, the Executive Director of Coalition for the UN We Need about important changes coming soon to the UN! Adam and others will bring both a Global as well as a Local perspective on the key issues we're confronting today, as well as positive initiatives for how we can advance the SDGs and human rights here at home. It will also highlight UNA-OC's Sustainable Impact Alliance (SIA) signature program, to localize the "SDG Model" here throughout Orange County and beyond by implementing the latest technologies with an Extended Reality Platform and Digital Dashboard, starting with SDG #11, Sustainable Cities and Communities (siaxr.org).
