United Montessori Schools of Indiana Summer Fundamentals Training July 9-12, 2024 in Indianapolis
The United Montessori Schools of Indiana (UMSI) is our state Montessori advocacy organization. If you are not already a member, I highly encourage you to consider becoming one today! A membership more than pays for itself in UMSI professional development discounts, invites to members-only networking events, and more! For example, they are offering $20 off their Summer Fundamentals training and $20 off the annual conference for members, and individual membership is only $30.
Summer Fundamentals is a 4-day training that is a great introduction to Montessori for new hires, specials teachers, administrative staff, and more. Days one and two overview Montessori philosophy and leadership. Days three and four overview curriculum. It is a great confidence-builder for those new to the Montessori world. There are great speakers each day from across the state and Midwest region.
This year’s Fundamentals will be July 9-12th. Hope to see you there!
