United Masjids’ Community Iftar

As-Salaamu Alaikum Dear Community Members, Neighbors, and Friends,

Please join us for the 1st Annual United Masjids Community Iftar during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Blackstone Islamic Education Collaborative has generously sponsored the space, and eight local Boston Masjids ( Masjid Al- Hamdulillah, Masjid Al-Nur, Masjid Al-Quran, Masjid Al-Taqwa, ISBCC, Yusuf Mosque, Al Rowda Masjid and Masjid Ar-Rahman are coming together to host and sponsor a delicious community iftar. Each masjid will be sharing its own cultural favorite dishes, which we hope you will enjoy.

The most important purpose of this gathering is to come together as one Ummah, regardless of race, ethnicity, or cultural background. Our Imams and community members will offer inspirational reflections on the importance of unity and how each masjid can play a role in reconnecting people to the community.

During the event, we will also pray Salat together, so please remember to bring your prayer rug—and your hugs.

This Iftar is open to all, regardless of religion. For those who are curious about Islam, informational materials will be available for newcomers. Families are warmly welcome, so please bring everyone along.
