United Festival - Cumbia en El Rio
About this Event
United Festival is a free community celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month happening Sunday, September 13th, 2026 at Beale Street Landing.
This free, family-friendly festival features live Latin music and cultural performances, authentic Latin American food, local vendors, community organizations, and activities for all ages. Highlights include a cumbia dance competition with prizes, a children’s art contest, an Aztec dance performance, a burrito-eating contest, a kids’ activity zone, and a low-rider car show viewing.
The afternoon also include community networking and a panel discussion presented in collaboration with the Amigo Community Center. The festival will culminate with the annual lighting of the Hernando de Soto Bridge in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, followed by additional cumbia and Latin dance performances.
Admission is free and the event will take place rain or shine.
