Come learn with us! Each week, United Angels Foundation will be at a different location for summer learning days.
Flags are more than just fabric; they are living stories that grow and change right along with us. In this interactive session, Professor Flag (vexillologist DeVaughn Simper) will take families on a journey through the history of the American flag. We will discover how the flag has transformed over 200 years—showing that change is a natural and exciting part of history.
Designed specifically for individuals with special needs and their families, this class moves away from "scary rules" and focuses on "respectful traditions." Participants will learn how to handle the flag with confidence, explore the sensory side of flag-making, and understand that showing respect is about the heart, not just getting the "rules" perfect.
