Union Reps Stage 1

TUC Union Representatives Stage 1 course is aimed at new trade union shops stewards or union representatives. This is a 10 week long course on a day release basis.

If you have being recently elected or appointed or have attended own union introductory course. This is the course for you.

On the course you will learn:

· understanding how your union works

· How to organise your union in the workplace

· knowing how grievance and discipline cases can be effectively handled

· understanding collective agreements

· working out effective ways of taking up problems of the workplace

You will learn this in an environment that is friendly and with union representatives from other union.
