Saturday, September 20th
– 9:00 AM – Union Park Tavern opens with brunch & drinks, setting the stage for the day
Park Festivities Begin
– 1:00 PM – Official Oktoberfest kickoff in Union Park & Ceremonial Keg Tapping in the Union Park Tavern biergarten. This year’s keg tapping highlights the 175th anniversary of Kenosha and the emerald anniversary of our sister-city connection with Wolfenbüttel, Germany. David Bogdala will host the ceremony, joined via live stream by Ivica Lukanic and members of the Wolfenbüttel sister-city group, linking Kenosha’s celebration to the opening of Oktoberfest in Germany just hours earlier
– 1:15 PM – Hungry 5 and Friends live on the main stage in the park
– 1:30 PM – Pig Roast & photo ops in the UPT biergarten
Contests & Live Entertainment
– 2:00 PM – Stein Hoisting Contest at the UPT Biergarten (presented by Hold My Beer)
– 2:30 PM – MGV Harmonia on the main stage in the park
Floral Gin (Set 1) in the UPT Biergarten
– 3:15 PM – The Inaugural UPT Pretzel, Brat & Beer Oktoberfest Challenge presented by Public Brewing Company on the main stage in the park
– 4:00 PM – Union Park Kickerz polka band performance on the main stage in the park
– 5:00 PM – Dachshund Dash race on 8th Avenue in front of the Tavern (Presented by Captain Mike’s)
– 5:15 PM – Floral Gin (Set 2) in the UPT Biergarten
– 6:00 PM – Blue Moon Posse (Set 1) on main stage in the Park; Woman in Motion perform on 8th Avenue
– 7:00 PM – Miss Oktoberfest Contest on main stage in the park (Presented by Francesca & Co. Salon)
– 8:00 PM – Blue Moon Posse (Set 2) returns to the main stage in the park
– 9:00 PM – 50/50 raffle winner announced on main stage in the park
Evening Fun inside Union Park Tavern
– After Union Park closes at 9:00 PM, festivities continue indoors at Union Park Tavern with Pieptone! and more live entertainment until last call
All-Day Activities & Attractions (Saturday)
- Public Brewing Company will be debuting a special UPT Oktoberfest brew, served both at the bar and throughout the park.
– Hammerschlagen & mobile axe throwing
– Kid’s Zone with bounce house, face painting, Fizzy Bizz & more
– Vendor market featuring local artists, makers, caricature art, vintage finds & more
– Oktoberfest t‑shirt press onsite in the UPT Biergarten by The Lettering Machine
– MGV Harmonia serving German food throughout the day in the park & Union Park Tavern will be serving their food menu inside all day long
Sunday, September 21st
Park & Tavern Hours
– 9:00 AM – Union Park Tavern opens (park open until 2:00 PM)
– 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Kenosha Art Market (10AM) & Traditional German Breakfast in the park by UPT & MGV Harmonia

– Live MGV Harmonia performances and stage dance by Em’s Dance Center (times TBA)
– Union Park Tavern will be open all day with German-themed drinks, live music & atmosphere
