The Union Jill is a bright and cheerful flag designed to signify a warm welcome and an inclusive outlook .
If you fancy making your own Union Jill to display, we will be around in Chapel all day so drop in whenever you like, and stay for as long as you want to. Bring any fabric you have, or clothes you're happy to cut up and recycle. The more diverse the better!
We have a few sewing machines and plenty of room to cut pieces out, it's all straight lines which is brilliant for beginners. Feel free to bring your own machine and sew in company. If you've not sewn in many years we will be happy to help get you started again, especially on such a great project.
And of course... the kettle will be on ☕️ 🍪
