UNIFY USA Veterans Day Flag Run, Massapequa NY
About this Event
Come run or walk with us in honor of the men and women who served this country.
On Saturday, November 14 at 10 AM, UNIFY USA New York, led by John Messina, is carrying American flags through Burns Park in Massapequa. It is not a race. Nobody gets left behind. Some run, some walk, and we finish together.
This is a local chapter event. It is organized and led by John Messina. Teagan and Koston will not be at this one.
Free flags. We're giving away 50 American flags in honor of Veterans Day. The first 50 people who RSVP and check in get one.
What to expect
- 10 AM. Meet at the Burns Park parking lot, immediately to the left when you pull in
- Check in with your RSVP and meet the people around you
- A quick welcome from John Messina, then we move out together
- We finish together, right where we started
What to bring
- An American or military flag if you have one. Those are the only flags we fly.
- Water and comfortable shoes
- Kids, parents, grandparents, friends. Bring anyone you love
This is a nonpartisan event, so leave the political gear at home.
It's free
