Directed by: Robyn Accetta
Rehearsal Dates: September 2nd – October 2nd
Rehearsal Times: Mondays – Fridays 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Saturdays 11am – 4pm
Production Information:
Eurydice reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love.
This production requires physical storytelling elements that will include choreographed movement, close physical interaction, and heightened emotional exchanges.
Available Roles:
Eurydice: (F): A curious, intelligent young woman torn between the world of the living and the Underworld who is deeply in love with Orpheus.
Her Father: (M) – Eurydice’s kind and gentle father, residing in the Underworld. He serves as a guide, protector, and connection to her past.
Orpheus: (M) – A passionate and gifted musician who loves Eurydice deeply who expresses his emotions through music.
A Nasty Interesting Man/The Lord of the Underworld: (M) – A trickster-like ruler of the Underworld, who shifts between an eerie childlike presence and a menacing, controlling force.
A Chorus of Stones - Big Stone, Little Stone, and Loud Stone: (Any Gender) They are chorus of the Underworld and enforce the rules of the dead with humor, detachment, and occasional cruelty.
Play #2: Scrooge’s Christmas: A Christmas Carol
Adapted by: Ken Jones from the novel by Charles Dickens
Directed by: Bruce Cohen
Rehearsal Dates: October 13th – November 13th
Rehearsal Times: Mondays – Fridays: 7-10PM, Saturdays: 7-10PM

The ensemble provides the songs and sounds as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the Spirits of Past, Present, and Future.
