On March 7, Lemon Tree Gallery offers a distinctly different evening as Arts Enter presents Unforgettable Jazz with Karla D. Robinson. The gallery will take on the atmosphere of a jazz lounge — an environment designed for attentive listening and notes that linger.
Robinson brings smooth phrasing, beloved standards, and expressive vocals shaped by years of performance and arts leadership. A respected choral director and Director of Fine Arts at Young Musicians of Virginia, she has spent more than 18 years mentoring young musicians in Hampton Roads.
Audiences will remember her performance as Judy Kimball in Send Me No Flowers this fall at the Palace and her leading the Sing-A-Long during the VSO Holiday Brass event in December.
