About this Event
Michael Gould is the founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope, a software company that allows their users to analyse their business data, then forecast and plan, all without technical expertise.
Prior to this, he founded Anaplan, an unrivalled planning and modelling engine which became North Yorkshire’s first tech unicorn - reaching a $1bn valuation in 2016 and later selling for $10bn.
In this talk at Tech York, Michael will tell us his story, from starting Anaplan in a cowshed in Yorkshire to IPO with 1200+ employees, to starting over again with Kaleidoscope as he believes there is “still a fundamentally unsolved problem about how organisations large and small are able to make good decisions in the face of uncertainty and complexity.”
After Michael’s talk there will be time for Q&A from the audience, followed by networking.
