Hosted by York Region Public Health, this half-day introductory workshop invites participants to explore stigma and its impacts. This workshop will cover:
- What stigma is and how it affects clients and access to care.
- Strategies to create more inclusive, supportive service environments.
- Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections (STBBI), including what they are, how they affect health, and how they are tested and treated.
- Building provider confidence to discuss STBBIs and support clients with STBBI information.
