Understanding Improv Belly Dance... We are going to do a lot of talking and sharing, I'll be giving examples and bringing up ideas you may not have thought would be apart of how we create our own improv. Past experiences, belief systems and patterns, how we see the world, ourselves, how we feel about different styles of music and the environment we dance or show ourselves in. Boundaries......
And how can we practice improv dance?
I will be giving you different exercises to explore your mind and your own personal movements... somatically you will be practicing how to feel your own thoughts and feelings together as you move and create your dance. Improv for yourself or your audience.
You are welcome to take one or both classes before we are engulfed in the Christmas season.
This class is open to all levels of dance, beginners are encouraged to try improv and start learning "Your" own personal style :) You don't really have to know a lot about any certain style of dance or a lot of particular movements to start improving.

Each class is $20.00 on December 5th & 12th 6pm - 7:30pm
