Have you ever been concerned that someone you know may pose an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to themselves or others by having access to firearms?
Do you own firearms and want to better understand what an Extreme Risk Protective Order (ERPO) is, how it works, and what it can and cannot do?
Join the Behavioral Health Services Division of the Frederick County Health Department for an informative presentation about ERPOs. Learn more about the process, when an ERPO may apply, and what firearm owners should know.
Following the brief presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from knowledgeable professionals.
Firearm safety resources will also be available: attendees will have the opportunity to take home a FREE biometric gun safe to help securely store their firearms. Multiple sizes will be available.
Please do not bring firearms to this program.
Come learn the facts, ask questions, and take-home resources to help keep firearms safely secured.
