Parents of children and teens are invited to a special joint ministry event hosted by Element Student Ministry and Trinity Kids Ministry. Join us on Sunday, January 26 at 4:00 pm in the Oxmoor Campus Nave for an important listening session with Dr. Chinwé Williams, an acclaimed therapist, speaker, and author, as we navigate the growing challenges of anxiety among kids and teens.Dr. Williams is the author of Seen: Despair and Anxiety in Kids and Teenagers and the Power of Connection and Beyond the Spiral: Why You Shouldn’t Believe Everything Anxiety Tells You. Her work focuses on understanding anxiety through connection, hope, and practical strategies for parents and caregivers. Together, we’ll explore how to support children and teens in overcoming anxiety, offering them reassurance and tools to face the challenges of today’s world.
Whether your child is struggling with anxiety or you simply want to learn how to connect and communicate more effectively, this session will offer meaningful insight and encouragement. This conversation with Dr. Williams promises to bring hope and clarity to an often challenging topic. Later that evening, students are invited to SNL: Sunday Night Live from 6:00-8:00 pm for a follow-up conversation tailored specifically for them. This will be an opportunity for teens to explore anxiety in a safe, supportive environment led by Dr. Williams and the Element Student Ministry team.
