Yet many investigators encounter IP data in their cases without a clear framework for interpreting it, acting on it, or documenting it in a way that holds up legally.
This course closes that gap.
Understanding and Tracing IP Addresses is a focused, 4-hour operational training that gives investigators a structured, step-by-step process for locating and tracing IP and MAC addresses in criminal investigations. Participants will leave with practical tools, applied techniques, and the foundational knowledge needed to build a defensible digital evidence trail.
