About this Event
Undercover Agriculture | Meital Katz Minerbo
Opening Shabbat Dinner
Friday, September 4, 2026 · 6:00 PM
Bess Myerson Gallery at The Jewish Museum of Florida
Join us for an intimate Shabbat dinner and conversation with Venezuelan-Israeli artist Meital Katz Minerbo, who will share her work and perspective while in residence in South Florida.
Undercover Agriculture brings attention to the overlooked stories of the first women pioneers in Israel and their struggle for equality as agricultural workers.
The evening will offer an opportunity to gather around the Shabbat table, connect through food and conversation, and hear directly from the artist about the research and ideas behind her work.
This special program is sponsored by Ariel Penzer and made possible through the Bloomstead Farm Residency.
We welcome you to join us for an evening of art, history, community, and Shabbat.
Space is limited. Advance registration is encouraged.
