Join the La Crescent Public Library at the Community Building on Saturday, May 25th, 10:30am for a special opportunity to visit with author Nigar Alam! Her book, Under the Tamarind Tree, is our May Community Read. Stick around after this program for a book signing hosted by Pearl Street Books. This program is made possible thanks to a grant from SELCO and Legacy funding. We're able to give away copies of the book on a first-come, first-serve basis, so stop by the library to pick one up and join us for our Community Read events!
