This series is designed to help scent detection teams build confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills while working through real-world challenges. Each workshop focuses on a different type of pressure dogs and handlers may encounter, providing practical exercises and coaching to strengthen your teamwork under increasingly challenging conditions. All workshops in this series are led by Jessica Fritschi LVT, CDBC, CNWI, CPDT-KA
2026 Workshop Schedule
📅 June 28 – People Pressure
12PM -2 PM
For dogs who are distracted by people, seek out social interactions, or feel concerned about working near strangers, judges, stewards, or spectators.
📅 July 12 – Time Pressure
11:45AM-1:45PM
For teams that panic when the clock is running and need strategies to maintain focus and make thoughtful search decisions under time constraints.
📅 July 26 – Environmental Pressure
10 AM-12PM
For dogs affected by unusual or novel unintended distractions in search environments.
📅 August 9 – Handler Pressure
10 AM-12PM
For handlers who feel the pressure of searching with an audience, receiving incomplete information, or making decisions under scrutiny.
📅 August 16 – Dog-to-Dog Pressure
10 AM-12PM
For dogs who struggle to work confidently when other dogs are nearby or have difficulty remaining focused around canine distractions.
