Join exhibition curator Samantha Littley (Curator, Australian Art, QAGOMA) during the opening weekend of ‘Under a Modern Sun’ for an insightful tour of the exhibition.‘Under a Modern Sun’ invites you to explore a defining chapter in Queensland’s art story, spotlighting influential artists of the mid-20th century.
Discover wonderful works by celebrated Brisbane artists Vida Lahey and William Bustard, regional figures Kenneth Macqueen and Joe Rootsey, and iconic interstate visitors including Max Dupain, Charles Blackman and Sidney Nolan.
