Meet Our Guest Speaker Joy Donnell

Joy is a dynamic speaker, trauma therapist, and entrepreneur with a powerful story of resilience, determination, and success. Growing up in the Midlands on a council estate, she developed the determination and strength that would guide her through a ten year career in the military, where she thrived in an environment often dominated by men.

Building on her military experience, she transitioned into leadership roles in male-dominated industries, such as health and safety, forklift truck assembly and facilities management. These careers all focused on problem solving, process management and process improvement, eventually breaking barriers as a co-founder and managing director of a multi-award-winning waste management consultancy. Her journey has not only shaped her perspective but has also fuelled her passion for empowering women to step into their own power, challenge societal norms, and create lasting impact.

Today, as a health coach and trauma therapist, she combines her unique background and expertise to help women heal, grow, and lead with purpose. Through her work and her story, Joy aims to inspire women to embrace their potential and make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.
