Uncle Jack- Fringe show
July 17 & 18 @ 8.10pm
July 23@ 7pm
July 25 @ 6.40pm
Uncle Jack” is the debut solo hour from a born-and-bred Darwin comic who’s discovered that being an uncle is equal parts heartwarming and unhinged.
Living with his nephew means navigating nappies, household chaos, and the responsibility of being the “adult in the room” — despite not always feeling like one. Through sharp storytelling and relatable punchlines, he unpacks modern family life, sibling dynamics, and the strange honour of becoming a role model by accident.
At its core, “Uncle Jack” is a love letter to family and to Darwin itself — the characters, the heat, the community, and the uniquely Territory way of doing things. It’s local, it’s honest, and it’s packed with big laughs.
This is a high-energy, story-driven stand-up hour about growing up without growing old — and figuring out what kind of uncle (and man) you want to be along the way.
