In partnership with Everfree, an organization fighting human trafficking, join us for an author talk and discussion with Dr. Melissa Ditmore, author of Unbroken Chains: The Hidden Role of Human Trafficking in the American Economy.
Dr. Ditmore will give a brief talk about human trafficking in the United States today and what individuals can do to help to end it, followed by a Q+A.
Dr. Melissa Ditmore is a researcher and advocate focusing on human trafficking and human rights. She has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, doing research on gender, development, health and human rights on behalf of numerous national and international organizations including the United Nations and USAID.
