Can EVERYONE at the TKO ELITE GYM look to support one of our senior members Steve Jones as he looks set to take on a MASSIVE challenge which will be used to raise much needed money for a great cause, the Great Ormond Street hospital to fight Cancer in children On 12th May he begins what we are calling UNBROKEN – THE 150 Challenge.
From that day onwards and for 150 days (without a break) Steve will:
• Run a minimum of 5 kilometres EVERY DAY
• Take part in DAILY Kickboxing sessions
• No rest or Breaks
And then
On Day 151 Steve will undertake to complete 150 rounds of K1-Kickboxing sparring, EACH round to be 2 minutes long with 1 minute rest in between
With a 10 minute welfare break at the end of each 50th round, that’s a SEVEN HOURS AND 30 MINUTES Sparring challenge
A HUGE undertaking that will test to the max his physical, mental and emotional fitness and we ask all members to please support with firstly donations (Link to follow) and then on the big day itself which will be SUNDAY 12TH OCTOBER where we ask every Cadet and Senior to come along and support him through sparring with him (of course) and then cheering him on as he looks to complete this fantastic challenge.
Our friends at other gyms are of course more than welcome to join us on the day and of course any donations will be gratefully appreciated
