We'll start from the fenced pond between Costco and Home Depot, hike ~2 km along the forest road, then down to and along the O'Leary Brook on a shared hiking/mountain biking trail. We'll finish the loop by hiking along another forest road, ending at the Ducks Unlimited marsh.The total loop distance is 4.6 km and should take us around 1.5 hours to complete (6:00pm-7:30pm). The forest roads are easy hiking on flat ground (slight incline). The mountain biking trail (~1/3 of the total loop) is moderately difficult with roots, rocks, and other uneven terrain. It should be fine as long as you pay attention to your footing.
You will want to bring bug spray. I have permission for us to park in the Costco parking lot in the spots on the eastern edge.
