Join us for an inspiring evening of art, conversation, and community as the Umpqua Valley Public Defenders present its Equal Justice Art Show & Silent Auction, hosted at Backside Brewing.This special event brings together local artists who share a passion for justice, equity, and community engagement.
Through their work, these artists invite us to reflect on what justice means — not as a fixed idea, but as a deeply personal and evolving concept that can look different for everyone.
Art may range from powerful portraits and abstract explorations to sculpture, photography, and mixed media, each piece will challenges us to expand our perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue about fairness, equality, and our shared humanity.
All proceeds from the auction will support the UVPD Equal Justice Initiative and the ongoing mission of Umpqua Valley Public Defenders to advocate for dignity, fairness, and compassion in our local justice system.
