Join Us for an Amazing Morning Hike! Discover some of the most beautiful beaches in the area as we take you on a scenic hike through Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve and Sibaya Coastal Forest Reserve!
Explore two stunning nature reserves, enjoy pristine coastal views, and hike in the intertidal zone at low tide for a unique experience!
End the adventure with a well-deserved coffee break!
Time: 6.45am for am
Starting Point: Lagoon Drive (corner of Newlands Drive)
Distance: Approx. 9km (round trip-you may uber back from Umdloti if you dont want to do the full distance)
Duration: 3 hours (excluding stops)
Cost: R179pp (Tickets available strictly on Quicket!)
Essentials: Bring snacks, water, or cold drinks, and a backpack to carry everything.
Footwear: Walking shoes are recommended, but feel free to walk barefoot along the beach.
Extras: Cash/card for coffee and snacks after the hike.
River Crossing: Bring a small towel as we will cross a river mouth.
Family and Pets: Kids and well-behaved dogs are welcome! Note: Dogs are not allowed in the nature reserves, so if you bring one, you’ll need to walk along the beach.
Rain or Shine, We Hike!
This event will proceed in all weather conditions unless there’s extreme weather (hail, thunderstorms, etc.). A bit of rain won’t stop us!
Important:
Minimum 10 confirmed bookings required.
If quota not met, event will be cancelled/postponed and new date OR credit will be given.
No refunds for "no-shows!"
