The UMBC Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Matt Belzer is a large jazz group dedicated to the professional training and creative development of its members. Throughout the year, the group performs at concerts, special events and festivals. They have performed with numerous guest artists including Nicole Mitchell, Allison Miller, Jonathan Barber, Howard Johnson, Ben Allison, Steven Bernstein, and Larry Willis. This concert will feature new works composed and arranged by students.Band members:
