The freshman foursome known as Ultraviolet is a rising band from
Belchertown, Massachusetts. They began as a group of 6th graders jamming with their band teacher during recess. The original trio featured twin brothers Jake (drums) and John (guitar), along with vocalist Lily.
Knowing they needed a low-end weapon, they asked Wes if he would join on bass—adding depth and groove that completed the sound. Now with over two years together, Ultraviolet performs for their local following at a growing list of food truck festivals, fairs, and summer concerts. They show no signs of slowing down. The band is dedicated to rehearsing, growing, and refining a diverse setlist that covers four decades and five genres—from Alt and Indie to Punk, Rock, and more.
