Event Format:
This knockout-style tournament eliminates players in each round until one stands victorious. After the group stage the tournament proceeds as follows:
1.Quarter-finals: The top player from each group advances to the knockout stage. With 3 groups 3 players from each category move forward.
2.Semi-finals: The winners of the quarter-finals compete leaving 4 players.
3.Final: The semi-final winners face off for the championship.
4.Final Match: The last 2 competitors go head-to-head for the title.
Categories:
Men’s Open Singles
Group Stage: Each player competes in 2 matches within a group of 3.
Knockout Stage: Top player advances to single elimination.
Women’s Open Singles
Group Stage: Each player plays 2 matches within a group of 3.
Knockout Stage: Top player advances to single elimination.
Boys U15 Singles
Group Stage: 2 matches per player in a group of 3.
Knockout Stage: Top player moves to the knockout phase.
Girls U15 Singles
Group Stage: 2 matches per player in a group of 3.
Knockout Stage: Top player advances to the next round.
Open Doubles
Group Stage: Each pair plays 2 matches within a group of 3.
Knockout Stage: The top pair advances to the knockout rounds
General Match Details:
•Match Format: Best of 3 games to 11 points.
•Final Match: Played to 21 points.
•Tie-breakers: Determined by head-to-head results games ratio and points ratio.
