The UllrGrass Troubadour Contest 2025 will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025 from 6-9 pm in the Bridgewater Grill at the Golden Hotel - Golden, CO . Submissions are due by Dec31 and Finalists will be announced by Jan6, 2023.
This event is FREE and open to the public, so come on down and enjoy an evening of LIVE MUSIC.
This contest is open to all songwriters and all styles of music. Contestants may perform solo or with an (1) accompanist. The judging will be based on "song quality", "vocal performance" and "overall performance".
The winner of the UllrGrass Troubadour Contest will receive a weekend pass to the UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival 2024 and will be offered a performance slot at UllrGrass 2024.
To enter, simply paste an audio or video link with lyrics (if you're so inclined) and your website in the DISCUSSION area on this FB event for consideration. Finalists (9 troubadours) will be selected to perform a 3-song set at the GOlden Hotel on Thursday January 16, 2024 in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. The winner will be announced and celebrated immediately following the contest.
Finalists should arrive by 5:30 pm on Jan11 for orientation. Performance order will be posted at that time.
