Discover the traditional Ukrainian art of Vybiyka block printing with renowned artist and children's book illustrator, Valeria Leonova. This historic textile printing technique uses hand-carved wooden blocks to create beautiful ornamental patterns on fabric, and you'll experiment with diffrent motifs before designing your own unique textile piece.
Suitable for beginners and creatives of all levels, and perfect for anyone aged 12 or over, this workshop offers a relaxing and inspiring introduction to Ukrainian folk art and craftsmanship.
Hat Works Café will be open, serving light lunches (available to pre-order before the start of the workshop), delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy and you’re welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
