On 24 August, we will mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence — a milestone of profound significance. As Ukrainians, we celebrate this day knowing that our Independence continues to be defended each day through the courage and sacrifice of our defenders.
For Ukrainians living abroad, Independence Day is a moment to come together as a community, reaffirm our unity, and remind the international community that Ukraine’s fight for freedom continues — and that sustained international support remains as vital today as ever.
The Foundation for the Ukrainian Community of Malta invites Ukrainians, friends of Ukraine, our partners, members of the international community, and everyone who believes in freedom, democracy, and peace to join us for a symbolic march and flash mob.
Together, we will honour those defending Ukraine, acknowledge everyone who continues to stand with our country, and reaffirm our shared commitment to freedom, democracy, justice, and lasting peace.
