Ukraine. Crimea. Crimean Tatars. Conversation with Refat Chubarov
About this Event
Join us on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for an exclusive, interactive evening of discussion and solidarity featuring Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars.
Taking place at The Guildhall at Old Mill Toronto, this live discussion offers the public, community leaders, and media a rare opportunity to hear directly from the leading voice and official representative of the Indigenous Crimean Tatar people.
Mr. Chubarov will address the current geopolitical landscape, the ongoing human rights violations in occupied Crimea, and why the liberation of the peninsula—and a just peace without concessions to the aggressor—remains essential to lasting international security.
Following an opening panel discussion alongside Canadian, Ukrainian, and Crimean Tatar community leaders, the floor will open into a live "Speaker’s Corner" Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to step up to the microphone, ask questions directly to Mr. Chubarov.
Join us for an important conversation about Crimea, human rights, justice, and the future of peace in Ukraine.
