NEW HVN er et band fra Liverpool som i 2025 trådde fram med sitt kraftfulle og sjangerbrytende uttrykk. Med røtter i post-rock og tydelige innslag av alternativ rock, grunge og post-hardcore, skaper de et tungt, stemningsfullt lydbilde.
Med mange år på veien under navnet A Burial At Sea bak seg, internasjonale turnéer og festivalopptredener, markerer new hvn starten på et nytt kapittel – råere, mer direkte og med ny musikk på vei i 2026.
VLMVs musikk har blitt hørt via TV-skjermer over hele verden, med profilerte innslag for Santander, The Grand Tour, Champions League-finalen, Nike, Vice, MTVs Teen Mom og mange flere.
VLMV er kjent for langsomt oppbyggende solo-looper med gitar, piano, vokal og synther. En sart og oppslukende opplevelse.

New hvn:
Emerging in 2025 from Liverpool, United Kingdom, new hvn blends rock, alternative rock and grunge into a genre-defying sound. From the remains of a post-rock instrumental band, the project new hvn has surfaced, blending together their post-rock roots with their shoe gaze and post-hardcore influences.
Having toured the world and released two albums as their former project A Burial at Sea, new hvn have had years of experience on the road, building fanbases up around Ireland, UK, Europe and Asia and have supported bands such as And So I Watch You From Afar, The Ocean, This Will Destroy You. They’ve also made appearances at festivals like ArcTanGent (UK), Post in Paris (FR), Bergmal (SW), and Dunk (BE).
Wanting to break away from their post-rock sound, the remains of A Burial at Sea took themselves to Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland and new hvn was born. Pulling influences from Pinegrove and Cloakroom and combined it with their post-rock background a collection of 10 songs were formed, to be released in 2026.
