� We're bringing back our Youth Advisory! �
Hey Community,
If you or someone you know has a local FNMI youth in the household or extended family, and they'd be interested in joining the Youth Advisory circle or volunteering for upcoming UIVS events, come join us for some fun in the sun at Discovery Canyon! Even if you'd just like to come out for a meet and greet, and learn more about UIVS and the work we're doing - please join us!
Thursday July 30th
12-4PM
Snacks and beverages to be provided, bring a potluck treat to share (if possible)
Don't forget your swim gear and towel, and an open bottom floatie no larger than 50" (Discovery Canyon rules). Please bring a camp chair or picnic blanket if you're able to, and sunscreen and bug spray if you want.
Parents/Guardians - please feel welcome to bring kids and youth of all ages. We don't want that to be a barrier for anyone wanting to attend but unsure of being welcome with littles! It's all good, this outing will be family friendly!
Transportation help may also be available through UIVS carpooling. Spots will be limited however, so if this is something you would like to do, please contact us to discuss further.
