Mark your calendars and tell your friends now - The Ugly Sweater Walk/Run is back for another year of festive and free fun! 🎅🏻🥳 This event will take place on Sunday, December 22nd, starting at 8:00 am. Activities start & finish by Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee Park. There will be 2.5, 5, and 7.5 mile road options. As always, this event untimed & non competitive. Walk or run… all paces are welcome! 🙂
Ugly sweaters aren’t mandatory, but festive gear is absolutely encouraged. Jogging strollers and friendly, leashed doggos are welcome. Fleet Feet Louisville will be on site with Ghost Max 2, Glycerin Max and Adrenaline 24 shoe demos, so you can run/walk in some of the newest Brooks shoe styles! There will be festive donuts/cookies, Elixir Kombucha, Heine Brothers coffee, hot chocolate, and more! And don’t forget to hydrate after you get your seasonal sweat on- KorfEdge will be providing Gatorade and water! Free professional photos will be uploaded after the event, thanks to Pic.Run and Run Louisville KY (join their Facebook group to snag your post run pics ASAP!) Group photo will be taken at the start, next to Hogan’s Fountain, at 8:00 a.m. 📸
This year’s raffle will be starting at 9:30 am in the pavilion across from Hogan’s Fountain. No need to sign up. Just show up! ⛄️🎉🙊
