About this Event
🎨 Come to Ugly Painting Evening for a relaxed creative evening where the fun matters more than the result.
The word "ugly" is intentional. Creativity does not have to be impressive to be enjoyable. There is no pressure to make something perfect, no right way to paint, and no expectation that your work will look a certain way. Some of the best moments happen when we stop worrying about the result and simply enjoy the process.
FAQ
Can I come alone? Yes. Many people come on their own, and joining solo is completely normal here. Each session starts with a short creative check-in to help you feel comfortable and part of the group.
Do I need any experience? None at all. This workshop is beginner-friendly from start to finish.
What language is it in? English-friendly throughout.
Are materials included? Yes. All painting materials are provided.
Where to find us? No.52 Community Café, Boxhagener Platz, Friedrichshain.
What should I bring?
All art and journaling materials are provided. You’re welcome to bring your own non-toxic materials. A tote bag or folder can be useful for taking your artwork home.

📍 No. 52 Cafe, in the Pavilion at Boxhagener Platz, at the corner of Grünberger Str. and Gärtnerstraße.
