This year join us at The Underground for an unrelenting celebration of heavy metal, sludge and doom. In collaboration with local powerhouse promoters Iron Boar Bookings, were bringing the loud, the heavy, and the unfiltered back to the heart of the city with a series of gigs we call Heavy Culture.This series is a homage to the underground spirit of metal, showcasing some of the fiercest talent around. Its more than music its a rallying cry for the forgotten, a stage for the unapologetic, and a sanctuary for those who live for crushing riffs and seismic grooves.Bradford this is for you and to celebrate the heavier side of this city once so proud.Featuring -MastiffEverything Mastiff do is in the name of intensity. Since forming amid the misery of Kingston-upon-Hull in 2013, the five-piece have crashed extreme metal, sludge and hardcore together to create the most brutal sonic onslaughts possible. Vocalist Jim Hodge, guitarists James Andrew Lee and Phil Johnson, bassist Daniel Dolby and drummer Michael Shepherd write together in their rehearsal room then record as quickly as they can all in the name of keeping their music fresh, raw and seething.Goblin SmokerSabbath.
