UFP Film Club: "Black Cat White Cat" Film Screening & FILM TALK

Come join us for a special film screening of Black Cat White Cat at Clarence Hall, Castlehaven, London Camden. UFP Film Club is excited to support Castlehaven Community Cinema as part of their world cinema series.

Set along the banks of the Danube, this fast paced, archaic Balkan comedy from the acclaimed film director, Emir Kusturica, is packed with eccentric characters, outrageous schemes and full of energy.

Refreshments (including snacks and hot drinks) will be available. Guests are also welcome to bring their own. Doors open from 5.45pm and the film will start at 6.15pm. Film Talk will commence 5 minutes after the film ends. See you there!

Tickets for this event are free with the option to donate as an "Add -on". All proceeds will support UFP Film Club in bringing you future film screenings and exclusive events.

Film Synopsis
This exuberant comedy follows Matko, a small-time hustler, and his son Zare, as they navigate a chaotic world of get-rich-quick schemes, crooked deals and larger-than-life personalities.

When a business plan goes disastrously wrong, Matko is forced into arranging a marriage between Zare and the formidable sister of a local gangster—despite the fact that neither of them wants it, at all.

What unfolds is a whirlwind of absurd situations, eccentric characters and unexpected romances, as the younger generation rebels against tradition and charts their own path.
